One of the things I like best about wedding video films is the way they can really tell a story. Rather than focusing on just the story of the wedding day, which would get pretty boring quickly, my goal is to tell the story of the bride and groom on their wedding day. Unlike wedding photos, video allows for rapid sequences of images and as the filmmaker it is my decision on how those images (24 pictures per second) are put together. On top of that, I get to tell the story of the couple through the voice of the couple themselves. I used to get asked if weddings ever get old. Since changing my approach to centering my work around THEIR story, I can honestly say each and every wedding has been so exciting! No two couples that I have worked with have ever been the same.
